Abu Dhabi Events was created to position the capital as a world-class destination for culture, entertainment, and global talent. At the center of its identity was a bold promise: If it’s happening, it’s on abudhabievents.ae. The goal was to build a dynamic platform that could keep pace with the city’s expanding calendar and offer an engaging, intuitive experience for both residents and visitors.
Working in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, we developed the brand strategy, visual identity, and multi-channel rollout across web, mobile, social, and email. The identity reflected the diversity of experiences Abu Dhabi had to offer, spanning seven event categories—art, business, education, local culture, lifestyle, music, sport, and family.
We designed and managed the digital platform with user experience at the core. The site evolved into a content-rich destination featuring more than 4,000 listed events and over 100,000 registered members. Our social media campaign boosted membership by over 40 percent and brought the brand to life through interactive, shareable content. A custom mobile app empowered users to create and post their own moments in real time, extending the reach of the brand far beyond the website.
To support the portal’s official launch, we collaborated with JBM Dubai on a live performance experience using 40-meter screens and local talent to create immersive, real-time engagement. We also activated the brand at global events using branded photo booths, allowing fans to capture personal memories while offering partners valuable participation data.
