As an accomplished creative director with over 20 years experience, I deliver original, innovative and strategic initiatives through print and digital media. My work is driven by an unrelenting passion to identify and generate effective solutions to business and communication challenges faced by brands. My methodology is a proven, well-refined process that delivers commercially actionable work to the highest possible professional standard.
After graduating from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, I worked at a number of London agencies, including advertising (BBH, BBDO AMV and M&C Saatchi), branding (Corporate Edge, Burson-Marsteller, All About Brands), digital marketing (Metia) and human-centred design (IDEO).
In 2007, the emirate of Abu Dhabi made history by creating the world’s first unified national brand, a concept subsequently adopted by many countries and cities around the globe, including Dubai, Hong Kong, South Africa, Australia and the USA. I was invited to relocate from London and supervise the brand identity concept, development and launch. My role as Creative Director was to provide guidance to a broad portfolio of clients within the public and private sectors on all its activities that may have an impact on the reputation of the emirate of Abu Dhabi – from tourism to inward investment and across a spectrum of industries and communications activities.
During my career, I’ve won a significant amount of international awards for projects and brands I’ve worked on. The New York Festival, D&AD, Communication Arts, Art Directors Club and more have recognized my work.
