Innovative Teachers Network: Preparing students and teachers for twenty-first century learning
The Innovative Teachers Network offers educators the chance to join a community of peers with a shared vision of collaboration, exchange of information and friendship. It was designed to connect like-minded people through dynamic learning communities that share cultures, languages and common problems. The Innovative Teachers Network is an online gateway that is rich in content and collaborative in nature.
To promote the online gateway, we created an enhanced marketing program and comprehensive toolkit to effectively localize the Innovative Teachers Network collateral. We designed a series of documents that included deployment guides, best practice examples and case studies. In addition, we created the online gateway, offering powerful collaboration and communications tools such as electronic private and public message boards, dedicated communities, personalized work spaces, web pages and file storage as well as a multitude of online subject and training based content.
Teachers who participated in the Microsoft Worldwide Innovative Teachers Forum and Network demonstrated that they are forging the future of education. They embrace innovative leadership, teaching, and learning. And they are creating learning environments that are relevant in the twenty-first century.
